Here is my 392 Ranger with the
10" jack plate installed.I have it set at 2'' below the bottom of boat and gained
8mph by the GPS.Wow, did it lift the nose of that ol' boat. Now she gets a little air. I still have 20lb. of water pressure, so could raise a little more, Running at 5750 rpm. Motor only has 3hrs.on a new power head so didn't want to air it out, but did run 67.8 mph per the GPS. Light load. The only thing that I'm not sure of is that Rangers top two bolts on transom are sunken into the water well with 1'' 1/2 holes and no way to install the
top washer plate behind the well.
